Apostle Michael L. Favors and his wife, Pastor Diedra J. Favors founded Empowerment Action Center in 2009. Together, they are called by God to establish the Kingdom of God through the the abundant life teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the Gospel of John 10:10. They were given the authority to carry out this specific vision and mission: to build leaders for today and tomorrow who choose to live by Faith, Fire and Action.

Therefore, EAC seeks to provide a wholistic Center that will teach and train the next generation of Christian Leaders through Abundant Life Principles.

Active in ministry for over 19 years, Apostle Michael L. Favors is the founder of Empowerment Action Center. He is a spiritual father to several pastors and churches in the US, which form the Empowerment Action Center National Association (EACNA) and PEACE International Network. Also, he is the founder of the Essential Leaders Institute (ELI). Apostle Favors earned a D.Min from Friends International Christian University in Merced California, a M.Div. from the Interdenominational Theological Center located in Atlanta, GA and a Bachelors in biblical studies from American Baptist College in Nashville TN. As a certified member of the John C. Maxwell Team he is a prominent and sought after thought leader who is called upon by many to be a Leadership Coach and mentor. Apostle Favors was consecrated a Bishop and affirmed as an Apostle by his spiritual Father the Late great Apostle and Bishop Eddie L. Long in 2015.He resides in Jacksonville, FL, with his wife and partner in ministry Pastor Diedra Favors.

Pastor Diedra Favors is a spiritual mother and woman of prayer who is powerfully used by God in prophetic intercession, spiritual warfare, and deliverance. She is co-founder of Empowerment Action Center and a certified Life Coach. She is given to the study of the Bible and is called to serve women and the elderly in the world.

As a successful Business and entrepreneur she owns and operates as CEO of several lucrative companies in the Jacksonville area.

She is the founder of Ladies of Victory and Excellence ( L.O.V.E. ) a national women's organization that mentors broken but not defeated women.

As a Pastor she oversees and manages the administrative aspects of the ministry and business and is constantly apt to teaching, training and coaching other women.
